With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sally G. Dix in Brighton, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gildemeister and Viola Gildemeister (Owen); her husband Willis "Bill"; and her grandson Brian Schattenberg. She is survived by: her family Sally; her sons, Gregory (Patricia), Gary (Lori), George (Cathy) and Grant (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Jason (Shayne), Matthew (Mindy), Karen Musolf (Brad), Jenny McDaniel (Chad), Ryan (Claudia), Jeannine Bennett (Tom), Stacy Tilley (Jim), Brandon, Heather Schultz (Mike), E. J. Schattenberg, Timothy (Jeana) and Daryl (Stephanie). She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home (23720 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A prayer was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 6:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to further honor Sally's life are invited to consider a contribution to Compassus Hospice.
