He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dillard Toney Jr. and Annie Laura Toney (Phillips); and his brother Charles Toney III. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Love (James) and Craig Toney; his sister Nancy Upshaw; his grandchildren, Ryenne Piatt-Toney, Mackenzie Banks-Toney, Jaylen Purgiel and Charles Love; his great grandchild Macklynn Ann Lethig; and his cousin Peggy Fitts.
