He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scarnegie and Eda Scarnecchia Scarnegie; his wife Joan Luteran; his sons, Gary and Kenneth Scarnegie; and his siblings, Patrick Scarnegie (Esther), Mary Rollins (Robert), Kathleen Scarnegie, William Scarnickia, David Scarnegie (Pearl), Virginia Jenson (Erik), Lola Scarnegie, Evelyn Cash (Eugene), Robert Scarnickia, Edna Garcia and James Scarnegie.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Scarnegie-Kean (Robert), Lisa Scarnegie-Milarch (Tim) and James Scarnegie (Gina); his grandchildren, Eric Scarnegie (Casey), James Hall, Leanna Scarnegie, Chelsea Scarnegie, Austin Scarnegie (Madison), DeMarco Scarnegie, Carson Scarnegie, Timmy Milarch, Meghan Milarch, Matthew Milarch, Faith Milarch, Hope Milarch, Sarah Kean, Catherine Kean and Jessica Kean; and his great grandchildren, Ashleigh Scarnegie, Allie Scarnegie, Brad Trainer, Allison Scarnegie, Corbin Scarnegie and Emma Monitz. He is also survived by many extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (2201 S Old US Hwy 23, Brighton, MI 48114). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (2201 S Old US Hwy 23, Brighton, MI 48114).
