He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kovanis; his children, Georgea Kovanis of Berkley, Loukea Kovanis-Wilson (Todd) of Fenton and Loukas Kovanis of Howell; his granddaughter Zoe Kovanis-Wilson; and his brother Harry Kovanis of Howell.
