She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Walts and Dorathy Walts (Hudgins); and her nephew Matthew Stacey. She is survived by: her children, Mark Miller (Cindy) of Byron, Pamela Miller of Byron, Karen Rivard (Mark) of Whitmore Lake and Jennifer Oertel (Eric) of New Jersey; her grandchildren, Helene Klar (Michael), Susanna Rivard, Marcus Rivard (Morgan), Stephen Rivard (Carolyn), Madeleine (Stefan), Bulow, Andrew Oertel, Elise Oretel, Alex Oretel and Evan Oertel; her sister Susan E. Taft (Charles) of Byron; her nephew Adam Stacey (Sara); her great-nephew Alexander; and her great-nieces, Katherine and Elizabeth Stacey of Bath, MI.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Byron High School Band, or First United Methodist Church of Byron.
