He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Jackson and Mary Jackson (Cochrane); his son Douglas James Jackson; and his siblings, James Jackson, Ann Burke and May Prior.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Harper-Jackson; and his son Robert Neilson Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
