He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Spencer Gallatin and Edith Jane Gallatin (Lemley); and his siblings, Lawrence Gallatin, Helena Kohler, Eugene Gallatin, Howard Gallatin and Melvin Gallatin.
He is survived by: his wife Dian Furgason; his children, Chad Gallatin (Deborah) and Rochelle Wiseman (Michael); his sister Shirley MacBeth; his sisters-in-law, Carol Love (Monty), Marcia Gilson (Mike) and Elaine Korican (Tom); and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Jack, Gabriella, Asher and Baye. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palmyra, Michigan.
