It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Edwin Poppe of Brighton, Michigan, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Poppe and Goldie Poppe; and his sisters, Arlene Hutchinson and Joan Vanover. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Poppe; his children, David Poppe (Rose), Roxann Poppe-Leibenhaut (Leonard), Robert Poppe (Anna) and Kelly Poppe-Purol (Frederick Purol); his stepchildren, David Hembree (Beth), Douglas Hembree and Jeana (Tim); and his brother Richard Poppe (Joyce). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
