He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan; his children, Guy Coy (Missy), Shannon Coy, Lisa Coy, Terry Coy, Tina Steel and Rick Coy (Kari); his stepchildren, Dan Rawlins, April Holliee, Sally Prejitzer (Bob) and Marcia Bird (David); his great grandchild Ivy May Coy; and his siblings, Ruth Davis, Marion Sheerin, Gale Coy (Shirley) and Marvin Coy (Sharon).
