We bid farewell to Doris Helen Malfese of Brighton, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Doris Helen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin C. Warkentien and Helen Louise Warkentien (Bergmann). She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Traynor (Dan) of Holland and Dawn Racine (Jim) of Brighton; her grandsons, Eric Traynor of Lakewood, CO, Sean Traynor of Bend, OR, Cpt. Zachary Racine (Briana) of Cameron, NC and Ben Racine (Abby Petit) of Austin, TX; and her siblings, Sandy Bondlow (Ron) of Plymouth, MA and Don Warkentien (Ramona) of Overland Park, KS.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakes Lutheran Church (2101 S Hacker Rd, Brighton, MI 48114). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery (221 Brighton Lake Rd, Brighton, MI 48116).
