He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Van Gieson; his father-in-law Leonard Stano; and his brother Tom Van Gieson. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Stano; his children, Eagle Scouts, Adam and Daniel; his father Melvyn Van Gieson (Karen); his mother-in-law Nancy Stano; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Stano and Ronald Stano (Kelly).
