He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mehr and Elsie Mehr. He is survived by: his sister Adelaide Mehr (Ada); his wife Bethany Mehr; his nieces, Myryna Shanker and Anita Gelman; and his brother-in-law Ron Runciman. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the ASPCA, supporting a cause dear to his heart.
