She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Derek (Mallory), Joel (Sara), Kyle and Meagan Fox (Dusty); her grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Autumn and Harper; and her siblings, Lisa Ward and Jason Kalis (Rachel).
Beyond her contributions to education, Cindy's creative spirit found expression in her love for sewing, crocheting, and quilting, evident in the beautiful creations she shared with loved ones and fellow members of the Ann Arbor Quilt Guild.
