He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Staebler and Dorthea Staebler (Wuerfel); his wife Jean Barnard; and his son David Staebler. He is survived by: his family Charles; his daughter Claire Staebler Donovan (Kevin); his grandchildren, Renelle Staebler Lamey (Wesley), Michael Donovan (Katie Proos), Denise Donovan, Garrett Staebler (Janet Bobryk) and Spenser Staebler; his great grandchildren, Jace Lamey, Adrianna Lamey, Troy Lamey, Brennan Lamey, Jordan Donovan, James Donovan, Elise Staebler and Isabelle Staebler; and his daughter-in-law April Rodriguez Staebler.
Memorial contributions may be given to Reliant, 11002 Lakehart Drive, Ste. 100, Orlando, FL, 32832. This will be a donation to the Lansing Police Ministry.
