He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Stanard and Julia Stanard (Ratz); his wife Barbara Hojda; and his siblings, Dale, Boyd, Dean, Dan and Irene.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris Stanard and Robert Sommerfield; his granddaughters, Julie (Rob) and Kimberly (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Savannah.
