He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Svoboda and Rose Svoboda (Horhak); his wife Betty Scheer; his son Steven Svoboda; and his siblings, Jim, Joseph Svoboda and Rose Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Svoboda (Pamela), Richard Svoboda (Becky) and Linda Svoboda; his grandchildren, Holly Lumley (Jason), Morgan Svoboda, Jeffrey Svoboda, Christopher Svoboda (Ashley), Nikki Whitson (Gerrad), Samantha Knapp (Johnny), Melanie Quint (Dennis) and Jake Knapp (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Madison, Hanna, Elizabeth, Connor, Abigail, Emily, Nora, Cameron, Colton, Peyton, Blake, Benson, Remington, Everly, Ryan and Stevie; and his close friend Pepper.
