She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wielgus and Mary Wielgus (Kielbasa); her husband Walter Flaga; and her siblings, Wladyslaw Wielgus, Tadeusz Wielgus, Genoweffa Gorka, Zofia Flaga and Stella Dzienis.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Flaga (Karen), Christopher Flaga (Julie), John Flaga, Dorothy Flaga and Walter Paul Flaga (Amy); her grandchildren, Zachary, Alyssa, Michael, Rachel, Nicholas (Julia), Kara, Mason, Marley and John; and her great grandchildren, Brantley and John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pike Funeral (9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (3903 Lake St, Bridgman, MI 49106).
