It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Backus Yech of Bridgman, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Backus, Sr. and Lois Pitchford Backus; her former husband Alan Morse; her brothers, Allen and Melvin Backus, Jr.; her stepson Paul Yech; her stepdaughter-in-law Lori Yech; and her grandson Carl Dean Price.
She is survived by: her husband James 'Jim Yech; her children, Erica Morse (David Boddorf) and David Morse of Michigan City, Indiana; her stepchildren, Tracy, James 'Jay', Jr., Amy, Joe, Shawn, Kerri and Karen; her granddaughters, Lauren Post of Michigan City and Anastasia Morse of Michigan City; and her uncle Leo Backus of Niles. She is also survived by 27 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
