It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fredrick Herbert Smith Jr. of Bridgman, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Smith and Maryjane Smith (Holloway); his brother Steven Harley Smith; and his brother-in-law John Pless. He is survived by: his wife Christine Smith; his daughters, Karen Majewski (Ronald), Katrina Smith (Jose Ramirez) and Rachel Green (Joseph); his grandchildren, Tyler Cox (Kelly), Alexandra Echols (Avion), Eric Cox, Michael-John Hart, Cevin Payne, Emily Payne, Haylee Payne, AJ Green, Dylan Green and Elijah Green; and his sisters, Judy Horn (Don) and Cathy Pless. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Church, 11152 Oak Ridge Drive.
