It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellis Jerome VanderPloeg of Bridgman, Michigan, born in Hamilton, Michigan, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William VanderPloeg and Wilma VanderPloeg (Wentzel); his wife Doris VanderZouwen; and his siblings, Joan, Elma, Lyle and Donna Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas VanderPloeg, Keith VanderPloeg, Phyliss VanderPloeg, Jon VanderPloeg and Myra Dornan (Fritz). He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
