She was predeceased by: her parents, Manford Holdeman and Julia Holdeman (Wylie); her husband James DeWitt; her siblings, James "Bill" Holdeman of Elkhart, IN, Betty Swyers (William) of Richmond, VA and Dr. Richard "Dick" Holdeman (Susan) of Mukilteo, WA.; and her daughters, Dawn Fowler of Grand Rapids, Gail Ades (Philip) of Burlington, VT and Dian DeWitt of Stevensville.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Wayne Fowler; her grandchildren, Tera Fowler (Trent Bartman), Nanda Fowler (Pete Damiano) of Grand Rapids and Rebecca Ades (Quang Ton); her great grandchildren, River and Mylo of Brooklyn, NY; and her grandchildren, James Ades of San Diego, CA and Anika Ades (Danny Vargo) of Portland, OR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
