She was predeceased by: her father Reggie Shonk; and her stepfather Eugene Benton. She is survived by: her children, Christina Rider and Ralph John "Johnny" Behrend IV; her mother Betty Shonk-Benton (Vermillion); her brother Tim Shonk (Maricar); her grandchildren, Clay Rider, Ralph John Behrend V and Zane Rhodes; and her nephews, David and Brandon Shonk.
