He is survived by: his wife Ynona Chalmers; his sons, Sam Chalmers, Larry Chalmers (Cathy) and Gary Chalmers; his grandchildren, Sam Chalmers, Jr., Tony Chalmers, Ashley Shreffler (Robby), Bobby Chalmers and Amanda Vedder (Jason); and his sister Barbara Worden. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Woodland Shores Baptist Church.
