It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward L. Roenicke of Bridgeport, Michigan, who passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Roenicke and Dora L. Roenicke (Gay); his wife Esther R. Roenicke; and his daughter Sharon Swain. He is survived by: his children, Calvin Roenicke (Rachel) of Bay City, Terri Templin (Peter) of Sevierville, TN and Rick Roenicke (Andrea Korpal) of Hemlock; his son-in-law Bill Swain (late Sharon) of Sevierville; his grandchildren, Becky Ruppel (Rodney), Aaron Swain (Rebecca), Joanna Canales (Julian), Stacie Kwaiser (Todd), Brian Roenicke (Tizza), Rick Roenicke (Courtney) and Bethany Martin (Matt); and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Midcalf and Richard Bechtel. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the W. L. Case and Company (4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors (4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603).
