He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eichel and Jean Thornton Eichel; his sister Jean K. Rusby; and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Doris Coleman; his children, Catherine Bailey (Daniel) and Erik; and his sister Susan Ewing of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
