It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Cowger (Brethren, Michigan), born in Webster Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on June 11, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evert Cowger and Valtie Cowger (Carpenter); and his siblings, Edward Cowger, Jewel Hirshlieb, Sophie McGarry, Joy Terry, Danny Cowger and Waymond Cowger.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Thomas; his children, Nancy Cowger of Brethren and Larry Cowger (Carrie) of Fowlerville; his grandchildren, Amanda Mezeske, Jeffrey Mezeske (Tabitha), Cassandra Cowger and Sarah Cowger; his great grandchildren, Emma Hatt, Christian Nelson, Wyatt Mezeske, Wade Mezeske and Kennedy Williams; and his siblings, Sylvia Creech, Marlin Cowger (Barbara), Annie Terry (Jimmy), Ted Cowger (Tammy) and Mark Cowger. He is also survived by friends, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
