He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dean and Rachael "Grace" Dean (O'Toole); his brother Bob Dean; his parents-in-law, Lyle and Elinor Myers; and his brother-in-law Tim Wertz.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Myers; his children, Jeff Dean, Kevin Dean (Derica) and Melissa Conn (Adam); his grandchildren, Aidan and Olivia; his stepgrandchildren, Paula (Kristoffer), Olivia (Callahan) and Enrique; his stepgreat-granddaughter Dorothea; his siblings, Ann Gensch (Chet), Ed Dean (Deb), June Pentrich (Mike), Mary DeRosia (Dan), Linda Anguiano (Bob), Bill Dean (Linda), Tom Dean (Patti), Colleen Wertz, Don Dean (Marie), Bernie Dean (Jill) and Debbie Willett (Russ); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Dean, Connie Hunt (Ray) and Lori Taylor (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Breckenridge/Wheeler Rescue Squad.
