She was predeceased by: her mothers, Pearl Carter and Gladys Carter; her husband Jim Briggs; her daughter Marcia Boucher; and her siblings, Geraldine Corbett, Blanche Coin, Dorothy Wheeler and Donovan Carter.
She is survived by: her children, David Briggs (Loretta) of Wheeler, MI, Susan Vibber (Brad) of St. Louis, MI and Gary Briggs (Tricia) of The Colony, TX; her son-in-law John Boucher of Williamsburg, MI.; and her grandchildren, Trevor Briggs (Julie) of Elgin, MN, Deana Dooley (John) of Pickerington, OH, Kelly Vibber Eyer (Corey) of Dayton, OH, Kristi Howe (Brad) of Lake City, MI, Brian Boucher of Williamsburg, MI, Laura Boucher McClure (Nick) of Seattle, WA, Josh Briggs (Kassi) of Austin, TX and Alyssa Briggs of Dallas, TX.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
I lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to The Care Team Hospice or the Breckenridge/Wheeler Area Historical Society.
