He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Drews and Clara Linda Drews (Lacker); and his aunt Mary Stowe (Lacker). He is survived by: his wife Janet Drews; his sons, Donald Drews (Kimberly) and Michael Drews (Gail); his grandchildren, Olivia, Victoria, Logan, Everly, Emily, Audrey, Charlie and Lily; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Whitting, Bob Whitting (Fran) and Rich Whitting (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Marion Township Fire Department.
