He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald and Evelyn; and his siblings, Gerry, Thomas Wheaton, Barbara Wheaton and Eleanor Standhardt.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Morgan (Kevin) of Caledonia, Wayne Wheaton (Tonya) of Fountain, Cheryl Riggs of Belleville and Ronald Wheaton (Beth) of Pinckney; his grandchildren, Lauren Spinner, Erin Maurer (Derek), Sean, Elizabeth, Michael Wheaton, Kimberly, Kevin, Austin Riggs, Katie, Brianna, Madison and Ruger Wheaton; his great grandchildren, Kiley, Nevaeh, Serayah and Elijah; and his siblings, Donald Wheaton of Arizona, Bradley Wheaton (Linda) of Burton and Lois Beuter Kier of Grand Blanc. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
