Carolyn Jean Wilkes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Wilkes of Branch, Michigan, born in Owosso, Michigan, who passed away on September 12, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leston Muzzy and Ruth Muzzy (Nichols); her husband Harold Wilkes; her daughter Kathy Golnick; and her sisters, Pattie Myers and Alice Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Ginger Darke of Muskegon; her stepsons, Harold Wilkes (Stacey) of Addison and Billy Wilkes (Angie) of Clark Lake; her grandchildren, Michael Darke, Jenifer DeBoer (Alex Jepson), Herbert Golnick, Kendra Beard, Cindy Dodson (Virgil) and Julie Golnick; her siblings, Linda Holden (Roy), Richard Callis (Teresa) of Fountain and Roger Callis of Vancouver, WA; her close friend Burt Kase of Branch; her mother-in-law Cleta Ahlstadt of Missouri; her siblings-in-law, Darlene Sizemore of Nebraska, Lee Wilkes of Arizona and John Wilkes of Jackson; and also Richard Callis. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many great friends.
