She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Dixon and Harry Dixon; and her husband Gerald Danbert. She is survived by: her children, Norm Mahanke (Debbie), Bruce Mahanke and Tracy Tirrell (Craig); her stepchildren, Jack Danbert (Eileen), Jim Danbert (Jodell) and Connie Nelson; her grandchildren, Zack Mahanke, Macy Mahanke, Grant Tirrell, Luke Tirrell, Brandon Danbert, Robert Danbert, Samantha Deere (Matt), Jared Danbert (Kaley) and Tonya Lifer (Kris); her great grandchildren, Zoey, Cora, Emmersyn, Kaidence, Addison, Chase and Brielle; and her siblings, Darlene Massey, Bruce Dixon, Christine Hosmer, Bill Dixon, Coleen Nessen (Ron) and Edward Dixon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Boyne Valley Food Pantry in Dorris's name, as she would have wished to continue supporting causes close to her heart.
