It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Wilson of Boyne City, Michigan, born in Gaylord, Michigan, who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Colvin and Nancy Jane Shepherd (Lacy); her husband Robert Ace; her son Kerry Robert; her daughter-in-law Lynda Lee; and her siblings, Marvin Shepherd, Charles Shepherd, Esther Shepherd, Lloyd Shepherd, Sarah Shepherd, Donald Shepherd, Velma Shepherd, Vernon Shepherd, Joseph Shepherd and James Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Kristy Soliz (Pete), Kevin Wilson, Kenneth Wilson (Angie) and Kaye Wilson; and her grandchildren, Lucas McCarry, Joseph McCarry, Logan McCarry, Alyssa Thompson, Sean Wilson, Nick Detlaff, Jennifer Wilson, Bethany Fisher, Justin Wilson and Kelsey Wilson. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren.
