He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Garlinghouse and Genevieve Garlinghouse; his wife Donna Garlinghouse; his son Michael Garlinghouse; and his close friend Betty Zipp.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Ficek of Southgate, Darwin Garlinghouse of Gaylord and Joyce Whitlow of Southgate, Michigan. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his two great-great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Stone Funeral Home (2098 E Mitchell Rd, Petoskey, MI 49770). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Independence Village (965 Hager Dr, Petoskey, MI 49770).
