With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Karl Ekstrom (Boyne City, Michigan), who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Ekstrom and Bernice Ekstrom. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ekstrom; his stepsons, Christopher Hausbeck (Carey) and Eric Hausbeck (Liz); his grandchildren, Wren and Graham; and his siblings, Peter, Jack Ekstrom and Jill Hinrichs.
