He is survived by: his wife Judy Slattery; his children, Karen Roy (Kevin Foster), Patrick Sowle (Julie) of Mt. Pleasant and Kelli Schmerheim (Bob) of Boyne City; his grandchildren, Nikki Schafer of Weidman, Todd Schleder of Mount Pleasant, Savannah Roy of Phoenix, AZ and Nicole Yuncker of Lansing; his sisters, Suzanne Fischer, Jennifer Sowle (Doreen Bierlein) and Colleen Wolfe (Michael); and his close friend Sammi.
