With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Rae Gilmore of Boyne City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry K. Munson and Alice G Munson (King); her husband Russell Gilmore; and her sister Delores Sheets. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Hosking of Indian River, MI, Sherry Clark (Rocky) of Indian River, MI, David Larsen of Boyne City, MI, Tina Larsen of Traverse City, MI and Jill Charbeneau of Houghton Lake, MI; her sister Kathy Potter (Marvin); her grandchildren, Paula, Justin, Angela, Bridgett, Julie, Becky, Vance, Samantha, David and Cory; her nieces, Sharon Alger (Dean) and Karen Ratliff (Jason); and her nephew Ken Ordiway. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
Those wishing to make a charitable donation in Janet's memory are asked by family to consider the Boyne City Senior Center or the Charlevoix Area Humane Society.
