She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Flodquist and Nellie Flodquist (Burns); her husband John Barden (Edward); her son Thomas Barden; and her sister Geri DeBrabant.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Barden (Pamela) of St. Joseph, MI, Paul Barden (Yumi) of Boyne City, MI, Barbara Pruetz (Mark) of Lake Orion, MI and Amy Barden (Jim Galvas) of Boyne City, MI; her grandchildren, Bethany Glyde (Chad), Jeffrey Pruetz (Angela), Michael Barden, Nicholas Barden (Kelly Moloney), Asuka Barden, Kyle Cameron (Mike) and Jordan Barden; and her great grandchildren, Brady, Austin, Oliver, Abby, Rowe, Shaw and Nina.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (1303 Boyne Ave, Boyne City, MI 49712). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Maple Lawn Cemetery.
