He is survived by: his former wife Loretta Musser of East Jordan; his child Laurel (Laurie); his grandson Andy; his cousin Marty Schumacher; his wife Sheila Rajkovich; his children, Rose Kolinske (Robert), Gil Jr. (Terrie), Laurie Bogema (Jon), Raquel Fair (Chris) and Nick (Emilea); his brother Gary Redmer (Margaret); his brother-in-law Leo Danforth; his sister Cyndee Deyoung; his grandchildren, Nick Erber, Lapierre (Michael), Lindsey Randstatler (RJ), Rebekah Moes (Nick), Lisa Redmer, Stephen Redmer (Sabrina), Michael Bogema, Big Andy, Jacob Fair (Stephanie), Caleb Fair, Abbi Fair (Kris Trevino), Jordan Fair (Kara), Caden Rajkovich, Conner, Abbey Wright and Camryn Rajkovich; his great grandchildren, Bella, Ellie, Lizzie, Maddie, Jason, Braylon, River, Sophia, Noah, Alice Mae and Maggie; his sisters, Yvonne Schadei and Faith Danforth; and his brothers-in-law, Werner Schadei and Doug Deyoung.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (1250 Boyne Ave, Boyne City, MI 49712). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
