She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Judge Harvey C. Varnum; her parents, Edward J. Watkins and Margaret Watkins (Stevens); her children, Patrick C., Pamela V. (Mike Smith), Penelope J. (Woody Hardy), Peggy M. (Keith McGeorge) and Paul E. (Cathi Lapin); and her grandchildren, Paul (Amy Hardy), Collins (Stephanie McGeorge), Kasha (Dan Brackett), Ryan, Liza, Patrick Varnum, Jennifer Pickering, Samantha Hand, Zachary, Lucas Hardy, Emily, Grace, Clark McGeorge, Genevieve, Amelia, Eli Brackett, Gabe, Penelope and Gemma. She was also cherished by many nieces nephews cousins and friends.
