She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Smith and Edward Daniel Smith; her brothers, Edward Ralph Smith and Robert Curtis Smith; her niece Suzanne Smith; and her brothers-in-law, George P. Richards and Aniceto Muniz Jr..
She is survived by: her husband James R. Cloutier of Ecorse; her sisters, Janet Richards and Catherine Muniz; and her sisters-in-law, Antoinette Smith and Cheryl Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Carolyn's honor to McLaren Hospice of Petoskey or the hospice of your choice.
