Sandra M. Livingston Obituary
In accordance with Sandra's wishes, cremation will take place and the family will hold a celebration of her life during the 4th of July Holiday on Monday, July 3, 2023 at the family residence in Bloomingdale.
LIVINGSTON, Sandra Mae Bloomingdale.
Age 73, passed away at home with her family by her side on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Sandra was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 15, 1949, the daughter of the late Leonard and Sadie (Falls) Koch. Sandra worked for the Labor Union Local #355 as a Construction Laborer, retiring in September of 2009. She was a skilled gardener and master grass cutter with her Bad Boy Zero Turn mower. She enjoyed puzzles and was an avid crocheter, making several blankets over the years. Sandra also maintained a doll collection that spanned more than 40 years. She loved spending time with her family and travelling with her husband, Jim. She took many road trips throughout the years, picking up grandchildren from out-of-state, visiting her out-of-state children and traveling to Las Vegas where she made frequent stops to collect rocks to bring home. Holidays were always important to Sandra, and she loved hosting her family. At Christmas time, her home was always beautifully decorated inside and out. Sandra also loved celebrating Independence Day, threw the best 4th of July cookouts and put on the greatest fireworks display. She was a lovely woman, with an infectious smile in good times and bad. Sandra had a knack for making people feel welcome and her loving and caring personality will be missed by her family and friends. Sandra is survived by her husband, James L. Livingston; children, Starla Moyer, Connie Livingston and Mak Livingston; grandchildren, Jamie (Krista) Jacobs, Kristina (Richard) Bush, James (Hollie) Livingston Easley, Sondra Livingston and Cody (Brianna) Easley; great-grandchildren, Walker, Braxton, Maddie, Braedyn, Logan, Jackie, Junior, Dakoda, Sebastian, James, Michael, Jackson, Kyleigh, Ryder and two others on the way; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members and many great friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Livingston; grandchildren, Michael and Kandie Kelley; brothers, James Howell, Leonard Koch, Douglas Koch, William Koch, Denis Koch, Thomas Koch and Clarence Koch; and her sister, Sue Ellen Koch.
