With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond N. Melvin of Bloomingdale, Michigan, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Clare Melvin and Anna Melvin (Nielsen); his wife Joyce Hosner; his daughter Susan; and his brothers, Robert and Richard Melvin.
He is survived by : his son Jeff Melvin (Tammy) of Grass Lake; his grandchildren, Tyler Melvin (Erica) of Ypsilanti, Matt Melvin (Amanda) of Saline and Hayley Golightly (Dillon) of Jackson; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Rae Melvin, Isla Joyce Golightly and Brooks Jeffrey Golightly; and his niece Jayne Brown. He is also survived by 3 sister-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests memorials be made to Bloomingdale Townline Methodist Church.
