We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2022, at the age of 70, Mary Akerson of Bloomingdale, Michigan, born in Saint Joseph, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Williams and Marjorie Williams; her husband Marvin; her brother David Williams; her son-in-law Hank Roberts; and her nephew Johnny Befford.
She is survived by : her children, Dianne Akerson (Perry Larsen) of Kalamazoo, Micky Akerson Roberts of Kalamazoo and Marvin Akerson Jr. of Bloomingdale; her grandchildren, Colt Larsen, Jessica Roberts, Devin Akerson, Alexis Akerson, Janel Nugteren and Joshua Nugteren; her sister Jane Ruiter (Jon); and her nieces and nephews, Steven, George, Jon, Eric, Cheryl and Jonna. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
The family suggests memorials be made to Al-Van Humane Society or any rescue shelter.
