He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Melvin and Lovisa Melvin; and his brothers, Howard and Garland. He is survived by: his wife Wilma; and his children, Jim (Lily) and Joyce Baker (Chuck) of Allegan. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandson.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bloomingdale Christian Church or the Bloomingdale Area School Alumni Foundation.
