He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Wanda Schause (Muth); his stepmother Doris Matrau; his mother-in-law Ann Pendergrass; his sister Sandi; his sister-in-law Gail; and his brother Johnny.
He is survived by: his wife Roxann (Pendergrass); his siblings, Karen Matrau, Debra Pena (late Peso), Frank (Marlene), Charlie, Matt and Jerry (Jean); his daughter Gari Matrau; his stepchildren, Cory Clemons (Shelly), Chastin Clemons (Nikki), Darrick Clemons (Crystin), Edwin "Bud" Stern (Carrie) and Deenie Stern; and his extendeds, Pendergrass and Buddy. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
