She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvia Helfer and James Helfer; and her parents-in-law, Lou and Esther Freedman. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Freedman (Karen Silagi), Dr. Laura Freedman (Jeffrey Shanbom) and Steven Freedman (Helen Sideris); her grandchildren, Benjamin Freedman, Ethan Freedman, Aidan Freedman, Brady Freedman, Scott Shanbom, Zachary Shanbom and Matthew Shanbom; and her brother Murray Helfer (Myra Eder).
