He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Chernoff; his children, Cathy (late Richard), Slavik (David Goldburg) and Joan Chernoff Epstein (Robert); his grandchildren, Brooke, David Jung, Bree, Ben Hefner, Meredith, Oren Tepper, Jonathan, Abby Epstein and Brandon Epstein; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Violet, Chloe, Ricky, Lev, Stella, Emma, Penelope and Arthur; and his parents, Benjamin Chernoff and Sarah Chernoff. He was also cherished by other loving relatives, friends, and caregivers.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A shiva was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Cathy Slavik (875 Purdy St, Birmingham, MI 48009).
