She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Mey and Anna Mey. She is survived by: her husband Vilnis Kalnins of Midsummer's Eve; her daughter Mara Ghafari (Yousif B. Ghafari); her grandchildren, Gabrielle Ghafari Tai (Sharif Tai), Nicole Ghafari and Peter Ghafari; and her great grandchildren, Vivienne, Violet and Owen Tai.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (470 Church Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304).
