“Stan was a decent man of integrity and strong passions about matters of worth. One example: he valued history, tradition and the land as is evidenced by his saving, preserving and enhancing Indianwood Golf Club. I was honored to serve on his Board at the Club, where I took many clients, family and friends. Stan knew I had designed and built a golf course and introduced me to son Kevin who was then designing Blackheath and has perpetuated his father's appreciation and love for the game.”
